Meet Kim Danhauer

Hi, I’m Kim! Thank you for visiting our website. I’ve been working with my husband, Jeff at Hearing Consultants of California since 1985. I am a hearing aid specialist with a degree in business from San Diego State University. I graduated in 1981 and went to work in my family’s business where I was a manufacturer’s representative for a number of hearing testing equipment manufacturers and a hearing aid company. There, I met my husband and moved to Santa Barbara. After completing course work in audiology and speech language pathology at UCSB I started working at HCC.

I am happy working with people of all ages to meet their hearing healthcare needs. I specialize in hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and repairs. I try to help people through the sometimes complicated task of buying hearing aids, learning about the process so they can maximize the benefit they derive from amplification. I also help our patients interface with our billing person in order to optimize their insurance benefits. I am the general office manager and try to keep everything running smoothly.

When I am not at work, you can find me playing with my dogs, working in my gardens and vineyard, or riding our horse.
